Position Overview: We are seeking a talented senior Audio/DSP Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal rolein the development of our groundbreaking DJ audio application. The ideal candidate willhave a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with a focus on DSP programming, along with agood understanding of digital audio formats, music theory, and artificial intelligence. Thisindividual will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to design, implement, andoptimize advanced audio processing algorithms that will define the future of DJ automation. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement and optimize state-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) algorithmsto enhance listening experience, performance, and functionality within the DJ application.• Design and optimize audio processing pipelines to minimize latency and maximize real-timeperformance.• Collaborate with software engineers, UI/UX designers, and domain experts to integrateadvanced audio features seamlessly into the application.• Conduct thorough testing, both digitally and sonically, and debugging to ensure the stability,reliability, and quality of audio processing algorithms and features.• Stay abreast of the latest developments in audio technology, DSP techniques, AI andindustry trends to continuously improve the DJ application.• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on audio-related issues andchallenges.• Contribute to the documentation of audio algorithms, APIs, and software architecture tofacilitate future development and maintenance. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelors/Masters degree in electronics, computer engineering, music informatics or arelated field with a focus on DSP programming.• Minimum 3+ years of commercial experience as an Audio-specific DSP engineer• Proficiency in digital signal processing theory, algorithms, and implementation techniques.• Strong DSP programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.• In-depth knowledge of digital audio formats, audio codecs, and audio processing techniques.• Familiarity with music theory, audio synthesis, and sound design principles.• Experience with audio and filter programming and with industry standard libraries andframeworks.• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicateeffectively with cross-functional team members.• Experience with machine learning, AI techniques, and their application to audio processing isa plus.• Passion for music, sound technology, and a strong desire to push the boundaries ofinnovation in the DJ industry.
