Opportunity Overview The client is a pioneering equity crowdfunding platform in the MENA region, democratising access to start-up investments for ordinary UAE citizens. In simple terms, where investments into companies such as Uber, Airbnb and Coinbase were previously gatekept to seasoned professional investors, now you or I could invest and own part of such a company through the client’s platform. This start-up was co-founded by two Lebanese entrepreneurs. They are UAE and London based, but looking to set up an office in Beirut. Our client is creating a next-gen equity crowdfunding platform built on Next.js, and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with them as they revolutionise the way startups raise capital. Job Description We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our client's startup. If you're a software engineer who wants to contribute to the world of startups and fintech, while learning from two seasoned founders that have previously worked at Google in London and in Investment Banking in Dubai, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. You'll become an important part of a small team, playing a crucial role in the development of a revolutionary platform set to drive vast revenue and growth. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain the Next.js platform. Create dynamic web and mobile pages with Next.js from figma wireframes. Optimize data fetching, loading, and caching to create a more user-friendly experience for users. Be directly involved in projects that will be visible to users, making your work impactful from day one. Required Experience 2-3 year of software development experience. Prior experience with JavaScript and web development. A strong willingness to learn and continuously improve your skills. The ability to independently implement solutions to technical challenges.
