Job Title: Head of Marketing Location: Remote/Lebanon Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (Lebanon time) 5 days per week Salary: 1500 - 2500 USD Monthly Palm Outsourcing helps international companies find talent in Lebanon. Candidates must also have graduated from either Lebanese American University or the American University of Beirut with a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. (International universities of a similar calibre will be considered). Opportunity Overview The client is a pioneering equity crowdfunding platform in the MENA region, democratising access to start-up investments for ordinary UAE citizens. In simple terms, where investments into companies such as Uber, Airbnb and Coinbase were previously gatekept to seasoned professional investors, now you or I could invest and own part of such a company through the client’s platform. This start-up was co-founded by two Lebanese entrepreneurs. They are UAE and London based, but looking to set up an office in Beirut. Our client is creating a next-gen equity crowdfunding platform and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with them as they revolutionise the way startups raise capital. Job Description We're looking for a talented Head of Marketing to join our client's startup. If you're a marketer who wants to contribute to the world of startups and fintech, while learning from two seasoned founders that have previously worked at Google in London and in Investment Banking in Dubai, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. You'll become an important part of a small team, playing a crucial role in the growth of a revolutionary platform set to drive vast revenue for the Gulf region and its team. Key Responsibilities 1. Social Media Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth across all relevant platforms while meeting business objectives. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices for each social media platform. Work with the design team to create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to each platform's audience and characteristics. Create and manage the social media content calendar on a monthly basis and obtain sign off from management Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement. Respond to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive online interactions. 2. Influencer Marketing: Lead our influencer marketing program, identifying and collaborating with influencers who align with our brand values and goals. Research, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers and influencer agencies to create effective partnerships. Develop influencer marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Track and report on the success of influencer marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed. Manage the budget for this channel and ensure thorough pre planning and working in advance of set timelines 3. PR and Press Management: Build and maintain relationships with key press contacts, journalists, and media outlets relevant to our industry or cause. Develop and distribute press releases and media kits to promote company initiatives, milestones, and events. Coordinate interviews and media appearances for company representatives. Work alongside the content team to understand the content strategy and how to best distribute this amount relevant press outlets 4.Advocacy and Community Engagement: Engage with our community and advocate for our brand on social media and other relevant platforms (e.g. Reddit). Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for user-generated content and brand advocacy. Develop and manage advocacy campaigns and initiatives such as affiliate programs to mobilize our community around our mission and values while driving business results. Previous Experience Graduated from Lebanese American University or the American University of Beirut with a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. (International universities of a similar calibre will be considered). 2+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing ideally from the fintech or finance sector. Proven success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive real results. Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices. Excellent negotiation skills. Proficiency in social media analytics and tracking tools. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and advocacy. High proficiency in English and Arabic.
